Remakes of films are usually the result of a filmmaker's deep admiration for the original or a desire to improve it. However, most remakes in India are the result of someone's greedy greed. They're essentially re-releases that no one asked for, like a Toyota Corolla in the cinema. You'll pay more for the most recent model because it appears to be newer, but it has the same engine beneath the hood.
