Pon Kumaran, who wrote and directed Priya Mani's Tamil-Kannada film Chaarulatha, is going to helm a film starring Jiiva, Mirchi Shiva, Payal Rajput, and Tanya Hope. According to the filmmaker, the picture, titled Golmaal, would be a family entertainer. "From the first scene to the last, this will be an out-and-out comic flick." Many well-known comedians, including Yogi Babu, will appear in the film," says the director, who adds that Jiiva and Shiva would play individuals who cheat for a career, with the plot centred on their lifestyles.
