Because Ranveer Singh's
'83 has a new release date, Allu Arjun's Pushpa gets a new release date.
The
release date for Allu Arjun's next film Pushpa has been pushed back once more.
The picture, which was originally scheduled to be released on Christmas Day
this year, will instead be released a week sooner. According to trade expert
Taran Adarsh, the film will be released on December 17th this year. If the
picture had been released around the holidays, it would have conflicted with
Kabir Khan's sports drama '83, which stars Ranveer Singh. "The huge
confrontation between '83 (Ranveer Singh) and Pushpa (Allu Arjun) has been
averted with Pushpa arriving a week early (17 December 2021), the big battle
between '83 (Ranveer Singh) and Pushpa (Allu Arjun) has been averted... '83
will now be a solo release this Christmas," Taran Adarsh tweeted.
Telugu,
Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada are the five languages in which Pushpa
will be released. Sukumar directed the film, which also features Rashmika
Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media
collaborated on Pushpa. The film 83 tells the narrative of India's historic
victory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Ranveer Singh will assume the role of
Kapil Dev in the film. Pankaj Tripathi will play PR Man Singh, the company's manager.
Balwinder Singh Sandhu will be played by Ammy Virk, Syed Kirmani will be played
by Saahil Khattar, and Sunil Gavaskar will be played by Tahir Bhasin. Deepika
Padukone has been cast in the role of Kapil Dev's wife.
