Vijay, who is affectionately known as Thalapathy by his fans, will collaborate with National Award-winning filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally for his next film. National Award-winning producer Dil Raju and Shirish will produce the film through their production company Sri Venkateswara Creations. According to official information supplied by the team, the major production house will mount this huge budget film on a grand scale.

Fans and movie aficionados were ecstatic when the film was formally announced on social media on Sunday, September 26. “#Thalapathy66...,” director Vamshi tweeted, sharing the news with fans. Sharing some amazing news about my upcoming film with The #Thalapathy @actorvijay Sir, which is being produced by #DilRaju garu and #Shirish garu under my home banner @SVC official.”

 

Vijay, Vamshi, and Dil Raju's partnership has already generated a lot of excitement for the film, which has now become one of the most eagerly anticipated south films. This project is expected to feature a number of well-known actors as well as a top-notch technical team. The team stated that further information will be released soon.

 

According to sources, the project will begin shooting once Vijay finishes his 65th feature, Beast, with director Nelson Dilipkumar. Pooja Hegde plays the leading heroine in Beast. Vijay was last seen on the big screen alongside Vijay Sethupathi in the multi-starrer Master.

As previously reported by the News Minute, Vijay recently filed a legal suit attempting to prevent his father, well-known director SA Chandrasekar, mother Shobha Sekar, and 11 others from carrying out activities or gatherings in his name.
